Description
Crispy, golden egg rolls filled with smooth vanilla cheesecake and sweet cherry filling, all made quickly in the air fryer. A simple, delicious dessert you can whip up anytime.
Ingredients
Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries, chopped)
Wrapper
- 10 egg roll wrappers
- Cooking spray or melted butter, for brushing
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix until creamy. Fold in cherry pie filling gently.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper with a corner pointing toward you. Add 2–3 tablespoons of filling near the lower third.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in both sides. Roll tightly and seal the edge with a small amount of water.
- Spray each egg roll lightly with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
- Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping once, until crisp and golden.
- Let cool briefly before serving.
Notes
- Soften cream cheese fully for a smooth filling.
- Avoid overfilling to prevent leaks.
- For extra sweetness, dust with powdered sugar after cooking.
- Swap cherries for blueberries, strawberries, or apple pie filling.
