Cheesy, crispy, and bursting with flavor—these Taco Ranch Bites are the ultimate party appetizer! Made with seasoned beef, ranch, and melty cheese, they’re quick, easy, and always a crowd favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 tbsp water
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 24 mini phyllo shells (or wonton wrappers/crescent dough)
- Optional toppings: sour cream, jalapeños, diced tomatoes, green onions, fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water, cooking until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese, ranch mix, and shredded cheese.
- Spoon a little cream cheese mixture into each phyllo shell.
- Top with seasoned beef, then sprinkle with extra cheese if desired.
- Place filled shells on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and garnish with optional toppings. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese.
- Assemble bites ahead of time and refrigerate—just bake when ready.
- Freeze unbaked bites for up to 2 months; bake directly from frozen.
