Description

Ingredients
- 3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
Topping:
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/3 cup butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking dish.
- Boil sweet potatoes 15–20 minutes until tender; drain and mash.
- Mix mashed potatoes with egg, melted butter, sugars, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk.
- Spread mixture into baking dish.
- Combine topping ingredients and cut in butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle crumble over sweet potatoes and bake 25–30 minutes.
- Add marshmallows and bake 5–8 minutes until golden.
- Rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Drain sweet potatoes well to avoid excess moisture.
- Allow mash to cool slightly before adding egg.
- Watch marshmallows carefully to prevent over-browning.
- Add nuts to crumble for extra texture if desired.
