Description

A hearty breakfast sandwich made with seasoned steak, soft scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and a creamy mustard-dill spread on toasted bagels.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • ½ lb shaved steak
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 2 bagels, halved
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill


Instructions

  1. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, and dill in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Toast bagel halves until lightly golden.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion until soft.
  4. Add shaved steak, Montreal seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and salt; cook until just done.
  5. In the same skillet, scramble eggs gently until soft.
  6. Spread sauce on bagels, layer steak, eggs, and cheese, then assemble sandwiches.
