A hearty breakfast sandwich made with seasoned steak, soft scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and a creamy mustard-dill spread on toasted bagels.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- ½ lb shaved steak
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 slices American cheese
- 2 bagels, halved
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- ¼ teaspoon dried dill
Instructions
- Mix mayonnaise, mustard, and dill in a small bowl; set aside.
- Toast bagel halves until lightly golden.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion until soft.
- Add shaved steak, Montreal seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and salt; cook until just done.
- In the same skillet, scramble eggs gently until soft.
- Spread sauce on bagels, layer steak, eggs, and cheese, then assemble sandwiches.
