Description

Whip up these adorable Snowman Oreo Balls—a no-bake holiday dessert made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and white chocolate. Perfect for festive parties, edible gifts, or winter fun with the family!

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (classic flavor)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate or white candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips (for eyes and buttons)
  • Orange sprinkles or mini M&Ms (for noses)
  • Pretzel sticks or licorice strings (for arms and scarves)
  • Food coloring pens (optional for extra decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos:
Add the cookies to a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese:
Combine the crumbs and softened cream cheese in a large bowl. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
  3. Roll into Balls:
Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch). Create smaller ones for heads and larger ones for bodies.
  4. Chill:
Place the rolled balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30–40 minutes.
  5. Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  6. Dip and Assemble:
Dip each Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate. Stack one smaller ball (head) on a larger one (body) while still soft.
  7. Decorate:
Add mini chocolate chips for eyes and buttons, and orange sprinkles for noses. Use pretzels or licorice for arms/scarves.
  8. Set and Serve:
Let the chocolate coating harden at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

  • Use a fork or dipping tool to easily coat Oreo balls in chocolate.
  • Chill longer if your kitchen is warm—cold truffles dip cleaner.
  • Add a drop of coconut oil to melted chocolate for a glossy finish.
  • Store in the fridge to maintain freshness and shape.
  • Get creative with decorations—tiny hats, scarves, and smiles make them extra adorable!
