Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 thick slices French or Italian bread
- Garlic butter (softened butter mixed with minced garlic and parsley)
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil in skillet. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until opaque; remove.
- Add remaining butter and garlic; cook 30 seconds.
- Add wine and simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and red pepper flakes. Return shrimp to pan and toss.
- Sprinkle with parsley and adjust seasoning.
- Spread garlic butter on bread and broil 2–3 minutes until golden.
- Serve shrimp in bowls with sauce and garlic bread on the side.
