Description

A warm, comforting soup made with frozen dumplings, aromatic broth, and fresh vegetables—ready in minutes and perfect for quick lunches or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 12 frozen pork dumplings
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bok choy, carrots, etc.)


Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté 1–2 minutes.
  2. Pour in chicken broth; bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Add mixed vegetables; simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add frozen dumplings; cook 6–8 minutes until floating and tender.
  5. Serve warm and garnish with green onions.

Notes

  • Add a splash of soy sauce or chili oil for extra flavor.
  • Use veggie, chicken, or shrimp dumplings for variation.
  • Keep dumplings and broth separate if storing leftovers.
