Description
Cool, creamy, and bursting with citrus flavor, these No-Bake Key Lime Fluff Bars are the ultimate easy summer dessert. Made with a buttery graham cracker crust and a fluffy lime filling — no oven needed!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup Key lime juice (fresh or bottled)
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 1 ½ cups whipped topping or whipped cream
- (Optional garnish): extra lime zest, crushed graham crackers, or lime slices
Instructions
- Make the Crust:
In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. - Prepare the Filling:
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk, Key lime juice, and lime zest. Mix until creamy and well-blended. - Fold in Whipped Topping:
Gently fold in the whipped topping until the filling becomes light and fluffy. - Assemble the Bars:
Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until fully set. - Serve:
Lift the dessert from the pan using parchment paper, slice into bars, and garnish with lime zest or crushed graham crackers before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh Key limes for the best flavor, but bottled juice works in a pinch.
- Make sure the cream cheese is soft before mixing to avoid lumps.
- Chill thoroughly — the bars need at least 4 hours to firm up.
- Whipped topping substitution: You can use homemade whipped cream if you prefer.
- To serve clean slices, dip your knife in hot water before cutting.
