Ingredients
- 3 cups (75 g) Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup (60 g) pretzels, crushed
- 1 cup (130 g) mini M&M’s
- 680 g milk chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 180 g creamy peanut butter
Instructions
- Line two baking sheets with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine Rice Krispies cereal, crushed pretzels, and mini M&M’s. Mix gently.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips using a microwave in 30-second intervals or over low heat on the stovetop, stirring frequently.
- Stir the vegetable oil and peanut butter into the melted chocolate until smooth and glossy.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal mixture and gently fold until evenly coated.
- Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheets to form clusters.
- Allow clusters to set at room temperature for 30–45 minutes, or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes until firm.
Notes
- Stir gently to keep the cereal crisp and prevent M&M’s from breaking.
- Refrigeration speeds up setting but is not required.
- Swap milk chocolate for semi-sweet if a less sweet flavor is preferred.
- Add chopped nuts or shredded coconut for extra texture.
