Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
- Form into 12–16 meatballs of equal size.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides for 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add beef broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes, scraping up browned bits.
- Stir in sour cream, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Return meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 8–10 minutes until fully cooked and sauce thickens.
- Serve warm with extra sauce spooned over the top.
Notes
- Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest texture.
- Do not overmix the meat to keep meatballs tender.
- Simmer sauce uncovered for a thicker consistency.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for added color and flavor.
