Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Form into 12–16 meatballs of equal size.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides for 6–8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add beef broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes, scraping up browned bits.
  5. Stir in sour cream, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream until smooth.
  6. Return meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 8–10 minutes until fully cooked and sauce thickens.
  7. Serve warm with extra sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for the juiciest texture.
  • Do not overmix the meat to keep meatballs tender.
  • Simmer sauce uncovered for a thicker consistency.
