This Instant Pot Spaghetti is a quick, one-pot dinner made with ground beef, marinara sauce, and perfectly cooked spaghetti. Simple ingredients come together for a comforting, family-friendly meal with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef (85% lean recommended)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- ½ pound spaghetti, broken in half
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cups chicken broth (or water)
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (optional)
Instructions
- Set the Instant Pot to Sauté and add olive oil.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Turn off Sauté mode and drain excess grease if needed.
- Break spaghetti in half and layer it over the beef in a crisscross pattern.
- Pour marinara sauce on top, followed by diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Do not stir.
- Secure the lid, set the valve to Sealing, and cook on High Pressure for 8 minutes.
- Perform a quick pressure release.
- Stir gently and add cream cheese if using, mixing until melted and smooth.
- Let sit for 3–5 minutes to thicken before serving.

- Layering the pasta without stirring helps prevent a burn notice.
- For extra richness, add cream cheese or a splash of heavy cream.
- Use ground turkey or Italian sausage for variation.
- Let the spaghetti rest briefly before serving for a thicker sauce.
