Description

Sweet heat, tangy feta, and juicy baked chicken come together in a simple, flavorful dish perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix the honey, olive oil, hot sauce, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken in the baking dish and coat with the marinade.
  4. Bake for 22–28 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Add crumbled feta over the top and broil for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and spoon sauce from the pan over each piece before serving.

Notes

  • Add extra hot sauce or chili flakes for more heat.
  • Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier option.
