Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and nearly cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 3–5 minutes, turning once, until the sauce thickens and chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.
- Remove from heat and rest for a few minutes before serving.
