Description

A hearty, creamy Hamburger Mushroom Bake made with fresh mushrooms, rich cream cheese, and seasoned perfectly for a flavorful, low-carb meal. Ready in under 45 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and seasoning salt.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese and eggs until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine the cooked mushrooms and cream cheese mixture in the skillet. Stir until well-mixed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle chopped parsley and parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and the bake is set. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add ground beef for a more “hamburger” style dish.
  • For extra flavor, try using a mix of different mushrooms like cremini or shiitake.
  • If you prefer a bit of spice, add red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
