Description
A hearty, creamy Hamburger Mushroom Bake made with fresh mushrooms, rich cream cheese, and seasoned perfectly for a flavorful, low-carb meal. Ready in under 45 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp seasoning salt
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and seasoning salt.
- In a bowl, whisk together softened cream cheese and eggs until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the cooked mushrooms and cream cheese mixture in the skillet. Stir until well-mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle chopped parsley and parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and the bake is set. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add ground beef for a more “hamburger” style dish.
- For extra flavor, try using a mix of different mushrooms like cremini or shiitake.
- If you prefer a bit of spice, add red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
