A quick and flavorful bowl made with seasoned ground turkey, warm rice, fresh toppings, and a creamy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or easy meal prep.
Ingredients
For the Ground Turkey
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (or preferred cooking oil)
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp grated ginger
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1–2 tbsp sriracha
- 2–3 tbsp chicken broth
- 2 tsp honey
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sea salt (to taste)
- 2 tsp cornstarch
For the Bang Bang Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- ½–1 tbsp sriracha (to taste)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp honey
Optional Toppings
- Cooked rice
- Shredded carrots
- Sliced cucumbers
- Shelled edamame
- Pickled onions
- Avocado slices
- Shredded cabbage
- Green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Whisk all Bang Bang Sauce ingredients in a bowl; set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and ginger briefly.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Stir in spices, soy sauce, sriracha, broth, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Mix cornstarch with water, add to skillet, and simmer until thickened.
- Assemble bowls with rice, turkey, toppings, and drizzle with sauce.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by changing the amount of sriracha.
- Store sauce and toppings separately for best texture.
