Juicy steak cooked in garlic butter served over rice with steamed broccoli and fresh parsley for a simple, satisfying one-bowl dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound steak of your choice
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Bring steak to room temperature and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak 3–5 minutes per side. Let rest.
- Add remaining butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes. Pour garlic butter over steak.
- Slice steak against the grain. Assemble bowls with rice, sliced steak, broccoli, and drizzle with garlic butter. Top with parsley.
- Serve immediately, optionally with lemon or soy sauce for extra flavor.
