Savory cheeseburger-inspired rollups made with seasoned ground beef, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, and golden pizza dough finished with garlic butter.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 portion refrigerated pizza dough
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- Season beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread seasoned beef evenly over dough, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the beef.
- Roll dough tightly into a log and slice into 1½-inch pieces.
- Arrange rollups cut-side up on baking sheet.
- Melt butter and stir in minced garlic; brush over rollups.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Let cooked beef cool slightly before adding to dough.
- Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
- Reheat in the oven for crisp edges.
- Serve with dipping sauces like ketchup or burger sauce.
