Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.33 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix melted butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; spread into pan.
- Bake 15–18 minutes; cool slightly.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar, sour cream, and heavy cream; mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time; stir in vanilla.
- Fold in melted chocolate.
- Pour over brownie base and bake 45–55 minutes until center slightly jiggles.
- Cool gradually in oven, then chill at least 4 hours before serving.
