A hearty one-pan meal with ground beef, cabbage, beans, corn, melted cheese, and crunchy Fritos for a flavorful comfort dish.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 4 cups chopped green cabbage
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup canned sweet corn, drained
- 2 cups Fritos corn chips
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup ranch or Southwest-style dressing
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and prepare according to packet instructions.
- Add cabbage, tomatoes, black beans, and corn. Cook for 8–10 minutes until cabbage is tender.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mixture and cover until melted.
- Top with Fritos and drizzle with dressing just before serving.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Add Fritos right before serving to keep them crunchy.
- Use ground turkey for a lighter option.
