Description

A hearty one-pan meal with ground beef, cabbage, beans, corn, melted cheese, and crunchy Fritos for a flavorful comfort dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup canned sweet corn, drained
  • 2 cups Fritos corn chips
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup ranch or Southwest-style dressing


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and prepare according to packet instructions.
  3. Add cabbage, tomatoes, black beans, and corn. Cook for 8–10 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the mixture and cover until melted.
  5. Top with Fritos and drizzle with dressing just before serving.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Add Fritos right before serving to keep them crunchy.
  • Use ground turkey for a lighter option.
