Description

A simple, flavorful baked salmon topped with a golden, crisp Parmesan herb crust and bright lemon-garlic seasoning. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb salmon fillet (skin on or off)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease it.
  2. Place salmon on the sheet and pat dry. Drizzle with olive oil and brush with lemon juice.
  3. In a small bowl, mix Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the salmon, gently pressing it into the surface.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the fish flakes easily and the crust is golden.
  6. Broil for 1–2 minutes if you want a crispier top. Let rest 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Broil briefly for extra crunch, watching closely to avoid burning.
  • Use finely grated Parmesan, not shredded, for the best crust.
  • Add a little paprika or Dijon mustard for flavor variation.
  • For meal prep, store in the fridge up to 3 days and reheat gently at 300°F.
