Soft, chewy cookies made with rich brown butter and warm cinnamon for a cozy, bakery-style treat that’s perfect for any season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and nutty. Cool 10–15 minutes.
  2. Beat browned butter with sugars. Add eggs one at a time.
  3. Whisk flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt separately. Mix into wet ingredients.
  4. Chill dough 30–60 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  5. Scoop dough onto lined baking sheets and bake 9–11 minutes, until edges are set.

Notes
