Ingredients
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, bacon, 1½ cups cheese, soup, sour cream, and ranch seasoning.
- Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish. Top with a single layer of frozen tater tots.
- Sprinkle remaining ½ cup cheese over the tots.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with golden crispy tots.
- Garnish with green onions before serving, if desired.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add cooked broccoli or corn for extra veggies.
- Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicy version.
- Let the casserole rest 5 minutes before serving for cleaner slices.
