Description

A creamy, cheesy baked casserole layered with tender chicken, smoky bacon, ranch seasoning, and golden tater tots. Easy to prep and perfect for feeding the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chicken, bacon, 1½ cups cheese, soup, sour cream, and ranch seasoning.
  3. Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish. Top with a single layer of frozen tater tots.
  4. Sprinkle remaining ½ cup cheese over the tots.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly with golden crispy tots.
  6. Garnish with green onions before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add cooked broccoli or corn for extra veggies.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicy version.
