Description

Catch a Husband Cake is a rich, custard-style baked dessert made with condensed milk, coconut milk, and simple pantry staples. Soft, creamy, and lightly caramelized on top, it’s an easy crowd-pleasing cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk eggs until lightly beaten.
  3. Add condensed milk, coconut milk, whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, whisking gently until combined.
  6. Pour batter into prepared dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is set.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Allow the cake to cool for at least 15 minutes for cleaner slices.
  • Serve warm for a softer custard texture or chilled for a firmer bite.
  • Add fresh fruit or whipped cream for variation.
