Description

A bubbly, cheesy pizza-style casserole made with fluffy biscuit dough, rich pizza sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. A simple, comforting dinner that comes together in minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 ½ cups pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3040 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped

Optional Toppings

  • Mushrooms
  • Black olives
  • Bell peppers
  • Cooked sausage


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Cut each biscuit into four pieces.
  3. Toss biscuit pieces with olive oil, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  4. Stir in the pizza sauce until all pieces are coated.
  5. Spread mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  6. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  7. Add optional toppings if desired.
  8. Bake 25–30 minutes, until biscuits puff up and cheese is melted.
  9. Garnish with parsley or basil before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure biscuits are evenly coated in sauce to avoid dry spots.
  • Add extra cheese for a richer, gooier casserole.
  • For crispier pepperoni, place some underneath and some on top of the cheese.
  • Let the casserole rest 5 minutes before cutting to help it set.
