Description

A luscious fusion dessert combining creamy banana pudding with Italian tiramisu layers. Easy, no-bake, and perfect for parties or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box ladyfingers (or vanilla wafers)
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled) – optional, for dipping
  • 3 ripe bananas (sliced)
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • Optional: caramel drizzle, crushed pecans, or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the pudding: Whisk instant pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Beat in softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold half into the pudding mixture.
  • Layer the base: Quickly dip ladyfingers into cooled coffee (don’t oversoak) and arrange them in a dish.
  • Add layers: Spread pudding mixture over the cookies, add a layer of sliced bananas, then repeat with more dipped ladyfingers, pudding, and bananas.
  • Top it off: Spread the remaining whipped cream on top and dust with cocoa powder.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Notes

  • For a kid-friendly version, dip cookies in milk instead of coffee.
  • To keep bananas fresh, lightly coat slices with lemon juice before layering.
  • Add caramel drizzle or crushed nuts for extra flavor and texture.
  • Chill overnight for the best flavor and firmer layers.
