Description
These baked chicken tenders are crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated with seasoned panko and Parmesan for an easy oven-baked dinner the whole family will enjoy.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/3 cups panko bread crumbs
- 2/3 cup (1.7 oz) finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 lbs chicken tenders (about 12 large tenders)
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place flour in a shallow bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk eggs in a second bowl.
- In a third bowl, mix panko, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and olive oil until evenly combined.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip into egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange tenders on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

- Use a wire rack on the baking sheet for extra crispiness.
- Avoid overcrowding to ensure even browning.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to maintain crunch.
