Description

Fresh green beans tossed in quality olive oil, finely minced garlic, and coarse sea salt, then air fried until tender inside with perfectly crispy, golden edges and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1.5 tbsp (22ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves (20g) garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp (5g) coarse sea salt
  • 0.5 tsp (2g) black pepper, freshly cracked


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the trimmed green beans completely dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender-crisp with golden, slightly charred edges.
  6. Serve immediately while the garlic is still crispy and fragrant.

Notes

  • Dry the green beans thoroughly before tossing to ensure they crisp up rather than steam.
  • Work in batches if needed — overcrowding leads to soggy beans, not crispy ones.
