Crispy, tender, and full of flavor — these Air Fryer Cabbage Wedges are the perfect healthy side dish! Ready in just 15 minutes, they’re seasoned, golden, and irresistibly good with any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 small head of green cabbage, outer leaves removed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- (Optional toppings): grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes, or lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare the Cabbage
Remove outer leaves and slice the cabbage into 4–6 wedges, keeping the core intact to hold them together. - Season the Wedges
In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush or drizzle evenly over the wedges. - Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–4 minutes. - Cook the Cabbage
Place wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp on the edges. - Serve and Enjoy
Remove carefully and top with Parmesan, red pepper flakes, or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
Notes
- Don’t overcrowd the basket – Air circulation is key to crispy results.
- Use smoked paprika for that subtle, roasted flavor.
- Add heat with chili powder or cayenne for a spicy twist.
- Experiment with oils – avocado oil works great for higher heat.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to bring back the crunch.
