Description

Crispy, tender, and full of flavor — these Air Fryer Cabbage Wedges are the perfect healthy side dish! Ready in just 15 minutes, they’re seasoned, golden, and irresistibly good with any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 small head of green cabbage, outer leaves removed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • (Optional toppings): grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes, or lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cabbage
Remove outer leaves and slice the cabbage into 4–6 wedges, keeping the core intact to hold them together.
  2. Season the Wedges
In a small bowl, whisk olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush or drizzle evenly over the wedges.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Cook the Cabbage
Place wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp on the edges.
  5. Serve and Enjoy
Remove carefully and top with Parmesan, red pepper flakes, or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket – Air circulation is key to crispy results.
  • Use smoked paprika for that subtle, roasted flavor.
  • Add heat with chili powder or cayenne for a spicy twist.
  • Experiment with oils – avocado oil works great for higher heat.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to bring back the crunch.
